About

Nate Zhuno, born 1975, is a specialist in nutrition currently engaged on a course of study within that area at a University in England, UK. He is someone who is also currently engaged in the activity of writing about himself in a third-person perspective and wondering whether it is a good idea or not. Maybe this means that he can say things about himself that he would not otherwise admit to himself or maybe he is being a little bit stupid.

Enough of that nonsense! This is my personal blog which goes along with my, soon to be infamous and colossal, Zhuno.com site. I am a nutrition writer and potential dietitian. My knowledge of nutrition is pretty scientific and vast but I felt the need to get officially qualified in this area as well.

Why did I take this direction as opposed to being a plumber?

That is a bit off the wall isn’t it? Well actually that is a genuine question that someone asked me recently; as odd as that may seem! He actually did have a valid reason for asking that. He was thinking in terms of “practicality”… I chose a career in nutrition because it is a way of life. I go in the direction that I choose. We work to live, not the other way around.

My life is dedicated to the understanding of human nutrition and human health in general. It fascinates me…

I actually started off my life in engineering which was not entirely the wrong direction. It is a science… and I am good at mathematics, which is helpful where Physics is concerned. I just chose the wrong science; that is all. Believe it or not, I actually chose that form of work because I considered engineering a more practical route. It is a good job (no pun intended) that I have learnt not to think like that anymore .
